Itinerary
Arrival at Guwahati Station / Airport morning and transferred to Shillong. Middle tea and snacks break in Ri Bhoi District main city Nongpoh. Then stop at Barapani Lake (Umiam Lake) which is one of the biggest
manmade lake of North East. Enjoy the beauty of lake and take memorable photos. Next proceed to Shillong and checked in Hotel. Evening free for market roaming by
own. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Morning after breakfast visit Laitlum Grand Canyon
which is famous for its mesmerizing valley view. The place is also famous for Rock On 2 Movie shoot. Once can observe 180 degree valley view and also realize why
Shillong is called ‘Scotland of East’. Afternoon back to Shillong and after lunch visit some local points like Cathedral Church, Wards Lake, Golf Course etc. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Morning after breakfast check out from Shillong and
transferred towards Mawlynnong and Dawki. First visit Single Root Bridge in Riwai Village and after that visit to Mawlynnong which is famous as cleanest village of Asia. After visiting take lunch in Mawlynnong and proceed for Dawki and Tamabil Border. It is a active border to connect Bangladesh also. After visiting Dawki proceed for Shnongpdeng and overnight stay at Shnongpdeng. Shnongpdeng is famous for Crystal Water view.
Morning after breakfast check out from Shnongpdeng and proceed for Cherrapunjee Trip to enjoy Waterfalls , Cave and nature with rain and cloud. Cherrapunjee is the second wettest place of earth after Mawsynram which is
also in Meghalaya. First visit Mawkdok Valley View on the way. One can experience 90 degree valley view here. Also one can experience Zip lining here. Next proceed to Cherrapunjee for seeing Arwah Cave, Noh Kalikai Falls, Eco Park, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Morning after breakfast check out from Cherrapunjee and proceed towards Guwahati for return journey. (Note : Flight or Train should be late afternoon).
